John McMorris, CEO
John is a seasoned senior executive with a proven record for building dynamic, performance-oriented teams and working with them to create effective, hard-hitting strategies. John specializes in working with young high-grown companies, quickly learning new technologies, regulatory regimes, and markets, and is noted for making immediate contributions to both tactical and long-term goals. He has worked, and built organizations, both domestically and abroad.

Prior to working with Inflexis, John worked in a broad range of fields including biometrics (he holds a fingerprint sensor patent), healthcare security, intel/security, high-end imaging, climate change and defense. Using his multi-disciplinary technology and R&D experience in both "hard" and life sciences, he played a key role in guiding a technology incubator firm to develop a systematic approach for matching unmet business needs with non-traditional differentiated technologies and assessing the sustainability of the resulting matches. His strong background in systems engineering, business development and international operations (gained working for Eastman Kodak, Polaroid, and individual incubator spin-off companies) make him adept at helping develop effective partnerships and intellectual property.

As President of a leading climate change projects company, John was part of a core senior executive team that achieved a successful London Stock Exchange (LSE) IPO in 2005, raising approximately $114 million USD. This IPO was managed start to finish in only seven months. On behalf of this same company he frequently worked with members of both the U.S. Congress and the National Congress of Brazil, and has testified in Canadian Parliamentary committee hearings.

John holds a BS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with concentrations in mathematics, electronics and system controls. He undertook additional electronic engineering (Masters level) coursework at Northeastern University.
